I have been inspired to try out taking some HDR Pictures. I am learning so its not perfect but I am pleased with the initial results I am getting. This is Canada Place in Vancouver Harbour where the Cruise Ships dock and the red bridge is the walkway for the Seabus (ferry). Hope you enjoy!

High Summer heat is typical in this historic, scenic town on the Fraser River , about 240 km/150 miles up the BC rail from Vancouver. Situated at an intersection of deep gorges in the lea of the Coast Mountains. It enjoys extremely hot summers often breaking 40°C and vies with nearby Lytton for the title of "Canada's Hot Spot".

(A local expert says Lytton gets credit for being Canada's hotspot only because there’s a Dept. of Environment weather station there. Folks in Ashcroft hear the Lytton reports on the radio, and universally opine that it’s always 1 or 2 degrees warmer in Ashcroft.)

This is the first photo which I took after arriving to Toronto and checked in to the Renaissance Hotel. The CN Tower is Canada's most recognizable and celebrated icon. At a height of 553.33m (1,815 ft., 5 inches), the World's Tallest Building. It is one of the must see buildings in Toronto. The CN Tower was built in 1976 by Canadian National (CN) - building a tower taller than any other in the world.

The red brick Flatiron Building in Toronto, Ontario, Canada is located on the eastern edge of the city's financial district (east of Yonge Street), on the north side of the Front Street (St. Lawrence) neighbourhood wedged between Front Street and Wellington Street, where they join up to form a triangular intersection. Although a prominent landmark both for its colour and shape, it is only five stories high. It is also the first flatiron building in a major city. It was built in 1892, making it the first flatiron building. The previous building was shorter but in the same shape and the area was called the Coffin Block. It was built by architect David Roberts, Jr. and originally cost $18,000 to construct for distiller George Gooderham, son of the founder William Gooderham. It was the office of the Gooderham & Worts distillery until 1952 and sold by the Gooderham Estate in 1957.

In the back of the Bronco on the Trans Canada Highway. I love riding on the TCH, just knowing that it can take you to either end of the country and anywhere in between is pretty mind blowing. Its gotta be one of the longest highways in the world (Ill have to check up on that). I like how this turned out, a little dark on the left but the colours work well and I like how the rounded edges work with the window.

I simply could not believe this sky ! Behind me it was very plain, no clouds, but to the North, it looked like Mother Nature had overdone it on Photoshop ! The Athabasca River is glacial water, hence the vivid colour. YES, it really is that colour, like so many of Canada's mountain lakes and rivers. Heaven !
